Does Eastern White Pine make a good flooring material, or is it too soft?
Eastern White Pine makes a wonderful flooring material.  It has lasted the test of time in homes since the colonial days in New England.  Most people find that any dents or scratches in their pine floors just add to their character.  Nothing has quite the enduring beauty of a real pine floor.  These types of marks in no way shorten the life span of the floors.
